The office of the Chief Clerk is one of the major unit in the Immigration Department
- It is responsible for all correspondences. In other words, we collect, sign for all correspondences for the department. We also send out correspondences on behalf of the department by our dispatch officer through way book.
- It upkeep all files and documents. They are also the major custodians of the Institution’s documents and a reference point.
- It also performs the duties of information sharing for important meetings and correspondences.
- Lastly it is the first point of contact for all correspondences coming to the department for official use.
